Dr. Pradip R. Shetye
Dr. Shetye received his DDS from the New York University College of Dentistry, and his post-graduate Certificate in Orthodontics from St. Barnabas Hospital. He completed an Advanced Craniofacial Orthodontics Clinical Fellowship from the University of Illinois at Chicago and Craniofacial Orthodontics Research Fellowship from the NYU Medical Center. Dr. Shetye also has earned an MDS in Orthodontics from India and MOrthRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Dr. Shetye has expertise in all areas of Craniofacial Orthodontic treatment for pediatric and adult patients. He has a special interest in orthodontic treatment for patients needing reconstructive surgery of the face and orthognathic surgery. He also offers all phases of comprehensive routine orthodontic treatment for children teens and adults.
Dr. Shetye is an internationally recognized orthodontist and has co-edited a book titled Cleft and Craniofacial Orthodontics. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed scientific papers and 35 book chapters. He has given over 200 scientific presentations at various universities, national and international scientific meetings in over 20 countries.
Dr. Shetye has received several awards for clinical excellence, The prestigious Daniel Marchac Award The International Society of Craniofacial Surgeons at heir annual meeting in Paris, France, The Henry Kawamoto Award from the American Society of Craniofacial Surgeons, Joseph E Johnson Award and Charley Schultz Award both from the American Association of Orthodontics and T. C. White Award from the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Glasgow.
He is a member of International Society of Craniofacial Surgery, American Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Association and American Association of Orthodontics.

Q: Do you accept insurance and which one?
Our office is a fee-for-service, and the payment is due at the service time. Our billing team will assist you with all the forms required to submit to the medical or dental insurance. It is your responsibility to verify that your insurance policy covers our service and then submit the claims forms to the insurance company. We do accept limited managed care plans as a special program and patients supported by myface, please call the office for more information.
Q: What is your appointment policy?
Our doctor must work by an appointment only. Patients who fail to show for their scheduled appointment or did not notify the office within 24 hours of their scheduled appointment time, shall be subject to a “No Show/Cancellation” fee. Please call the office for more details on this policy.
